High Holiday Boot Camp

Find yourself wondering how to best plug in to High Holy Day services? How to access the challenging theological liturgy (“Who by fire and who by water”)? How to get tuned in to those plaintive and haunting melodies? How to wrestle with those ancient texts about memory and forgiveness and regret?
Join Society Hill Synagogue for a series of three sessions on Wednesdays September 11 (with Rabbi Winokur), September 18 (with Hazzan Roemer), and September 25 (with Rabbi Kamesar) at 7 PM in preparation for the Yamim Noraim — the Days of Awe.
