Germantown Jewish Centre
Diversity is the hallmark of our Jewish lives at GJC, and we will be offering multiple online options for celebrating the High Holidays, including three different prayer communities (the Charry Sanctuary Service, Minyan Dorshei Derekh, and Minyan Masorti), meditation, chant, and yoga, and a channel dedicated to kids and families. The Charry Sanctuary Service will stream live (audio/video) from our website. If you are interested in accessing all services and programs, membership or guest tickets are needed to receive the Zoom links. Full details can be found at https://germantownjewishcentre.org/high-holidays-5781/. The Charry Sanctuary Service can be streamed live at no cost. To access other services and programs, a donation is requested to participate. Guest tickets can be purchased at https://germantownjewishcentre.org/hh-tickets-non-members/.
Jewish Children’s Folkshul and Adult Community
Our services are joyful and participatory, weaving traditional liturgy, poetry, and contemporary reflections. We use a Reconstructionist High Holiday Machzor with full English transliteration. Through Zoom technology you are invited to harmonize, listen, and connect. We will make our way through psalms, shacharit, a traditional Torah service, followed by Mussaf, leaning on our ancient liturgy to carry us into the new year with hope. In preparation, we encourage you to create an intentional physical space to pray with us, so that we can bring maximum presence to this sanctuary in the cloud. In each service, a member will share a reflection on the theme of Tohu va’Vohu: Chaos and Creation. Live captioning will be provided. For liturgical moments, we will share the machzor on the screen. For registration, further accessibility info, and full details, please visit https://www.kol-tzedek.org/high-holidays.html.
Our theme this year is: Standing in the Truth of These Times: Remembering Who We Are and Calling Forth and Claiming Who We Will Be. Register at https://forms.gle/Viju9ZVmUtm2ukFDA. Donations at https://mishkan.org/donations.
P’nai Or Jewish Renewal Congregation of Philadelphia
Many talented P’nai Or members join Rabbi Marcia Prager to co-lead these festive Zoom gatherings. We blend traditional liturgy with reflection, movement, meditation, small-group conversations, Torah readings in Hebrew and English, and more… all flowing together. There will be time for passionate prayer, quiet meditation, opportunities to reflect and do some deep inner work, time to share, to be creative and even make some new friends.
P’nai Or High Holidays welcome P’nai Or members and our extended P’nai Or family and friends. Registration information will go to our email list. If you did not receive an email and wish to attend, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and introduce yourself, so we can get back to you.
Society Hill Synagogue
