Passover 2021

Passover begins Saturday night, March 27. As we approach another Passover under strange and previously unimaginable circumstances, please know that our Center City Kehillah organizations continue to be here to support you and to be there to help you make the most meaning out of your Jewish experiences.

Every organization is approaching Passover this year in its own unique way, and we’ve compiled links to the various resources that might help you get your questions answers, find a virtual seder, discovery a new addition to your own celebration this year and learn more about how the Center City Jewish community is marking this important holiday.

For any program below without a link, please contact us for how to join.

Jewish Federation has also put together this list of resources. There may be some overlap, AND, if you still aren’t finding what you’re looking for, please reach out so we can help.

Virtual Seder with Leyv Ha-Ir
Let’s leave Egypt together! Join us for our community Seder on the 2nd night of Passover. Connect on Zoom, and, if you have it, have your matzah, wine, maror, haroset, parsley, salt water and egg ready.  We’ll experience Seder from our own homes while being together virtually. Plan to join the Zoom gathering by around 5:45 PM to be ready to start at 6:00 PM.  The seder will last approximately 1 1/2 hours.  Zoom will remain open after the seder for people who may want to eat and chat together. If you are not a Leyv Ha-Ir member who would like to participate, please email us at, or call us at 215-629-1995, for the remote access information. While there is no charge for the seder, it is customary to give tzedakah at this time. You can help offset Leyv Ha-Ir’s expenses by donating to us at
