Everything continues to be topsy-turvy, which at least is appropriate for Purim! Once again, our Center City Kehillah organizations are bringing their full creativity to the task of finding ways to celebrate during this wacky, upside down time.

It’s a Drag: Purim, Gender Costumes, & Being Our True Selves

Join Rodeph Shalom and Rabbi Nikki DeBlosi for a serious look at the concept of drag and gender. On Purim, we don costumes, sometimes playing with gender stereotypes. As conversations around gender multiply, we consider the ways in which living “beyond the binary” of “male” and “female” can liberate ourselves, and one another. Join Kol Tzedek for a festive Purim evening for all ages on Thursday, February 25 as we draw ourselves out of the depths and into the world of the Megillah, where everything is possible. Grad Network is excited to offer a special Purim Shabbat-Box aka *Shabbox* pick up on Friday February 26th in Center City from 3-5pm. The address for pick-up will be emailed to you on February 25th. The address is in Center City. The Shabbox includes items you can use to have a Shabbat experience at home plus tasty hamentaschen and more!
